Sioux Falls, Welcome to Kubb!

Hello Sioux Falls! We’re finally getting this page up and running, and we wanted to start out by giving you an idea of who we are and what to expect in the upcoming months.

Who We Are
Sioux Falls Kubb is currently a small group of people who will play a game here and there when the itch gets to be too much and time permits. The showrunner is Aaron Bauer (along with his wife), and our regular players are close friends and family. Our hope is to be able to update this description within the next six months to include many, many more of you.

Where We Came From
Our knowledge of the game is rooted in a dorm at a small Christian liberal arts college in northwest Iowa. Prior to playing on the green there, we had never heard of kubb. Within the last year, the Bauers started building kubb sets and wishing they had a broader group to enjoy the game with. Which leads us to the creation of Sioux Falls Kubb.

What To Expect
Within the next few months, we’ll be hosting a few afternoon learn-and-play events. This will be an opportunity for you to come learn the game and play with people of various skill levels. Bear with us as we try to build this community throughout the warmer months. And please spread the word as we do so!
By winter, we hope to have found a location to continue playing inside as well as a place for some snow pitch games. At that time, we will have applied for a grant from our friends at US Kubb to provide a couple of kubb sets for our organization. Then, next summer, the goal is to host a league spanning as long as the weather allows!

Thank you so much for stopping by the page to check us out! If you have any questions, feel free to email us via the contact link above or see below for where to find us elsewhere on the web! All future information will be posted across as many outlets as possible, so you shouldn’t miss a beat.
